WHAT A PLANT NEEDS
There are many things that a plant needs in order to grow. But perhaps the first and most important thing to start with is the soil you are planting your seed in. If the soil is hard, or clay soil then your seed will have a harder time spreading their roots because the soil will be to stiff. The ideal type of soil would be soft soil packed full of nutrients and fertilizer making it an ideal place for your seed to grow. Then after you have planted your seed you need to make your you are very generous with the amount of water and sunlight that it can get. There really is not a way to over water a seed when you first plant it. There are some cases though where a heavy rain will come and wash all of your seeds away. If this happens then you have to either try to re-plant the seed and salvage what you can. Every time you water a seed that has just been planted you need to make sure that they never get dry because when you first plant a seed it has been dormant and not growing for a very long time. So when you water them you are in a way "re-awakening" your sleeping seed from being dormant to igniting the life that is inside of it. The first few weeks of a seedlings life is the determining factor of how it will grow and the quality of the plant.
